Working in an International Environment
We encourage our employees to develop and grow, and provide them with challenges that come with working in an international environment. We offer opportunities for vertical and horizontal promotion, hybrid forms of work and flexible working hours, adapting as much as possible to the needs of our employees.
We make sure our employees feel comfortable and acquire the right skills – the skills they need to do their job well and professionally. That is why we prepare an individual development plan for each employee.
Constantly Gaining New Knowledge
We continuously promote internal knowledge transfer from more experienced employees to less experienced ones through mentoring and coaching. Knowledge sharing also goes the other way, from younger employees to other employees, as it is the case in our internal millennials’ podcasts.
We also participate in external trainings, with 95% of our employees attending at least one external training each year. On average, each employee attends 50 hours of training per year.
Mentoring Program
Mentoring is one of the key steps in the onboarding process. New employees are paired with a qualified mentors who guide them in setting goals and building competences, while also introducing them to the company culture.
At Medis, we take great care to select excellent mentors, each having a wealth of knowledge and experience in their respective field of work. Mentors are also skilled in interpersonal relationships and are willing to put in the extra time and effort to transfer knowledge and provide guidance to their new colleagues.
Carefully Managed Onboarding
A good start in a new working environment is important, which is why we invest a lot of effort in a targeted and tailored onboarding of new employees to make their start with the company welcoming and as stress-free as possible. At the same time, we also equip the new employee with the skills that their new job requires.
